WSN x UBC Social Justice Centre present: Movie Night!

February 3 @ 5:45 pm - 7:30 pm

Join WSN and the UBC Social Justice Centre for a movie night at UBC! We’ll be screening Dolores (2017), a powerful documentary about Dolores Huerta, a legendary labour organizer, co-founder of the United Farm Workers, and a lifelong advocate for workers’ rights, women’s rights, gay liberation, and racial justice.

The screening will be paired with a short video from the 2025 BC Migrant Summit, highlighting the ongoing work supporting migrant workers and labour justice in our communities. The evening will conclude with time for questions and discussion, as well as an opportunity to connect with fellow students and community members interested in workplace justice and collective action.

Whether you’re new to labour issues or already involved, this is a low pressure way to learn, reflect, and get involved!

Date: February 3rd

Time: Doors open at 5:45 PM, screening starts at 6:15 PM

Location: The Norm Theatre, inside the UBC Life Building (opposite the Starbucks), 6138 Student Union Blvd, V6T 1Z1
