We’re back with our third instalment of our Organizing 101 Workshop Series. This time: it’s about retaliation, and what you can do about it!

Have you been missing wages or unjust working conditions and been afraid to speak out because of your boss? The fear of retaliation from employers is a major barrier for precarious workers wanting to pursue an Employment Standards Branch complain, unionization, speaking out against awful or illegal conditions, or speaking about their working conditions amongst themselves.

This interactive workshop that includes an example exercise will help workers to identify and protect themselves from retaliation, know what courses of action they may take, and understand what resources there are to support them through retaliation. No prior experience or familiarity is needed in order to attend and benefit from this presentation.
