DESCRIPTION:Join WSN’s Workers Rising: General Membership Meeting!!\n\nWhen: Thursday\, August 28th at 4:30pm\nWhere: WSN’s Vancouver office (312 Main Street)\nThe entrance is on Cordova\, beside the bus stop. You can use the buzzer to be let in! \nHelp build WSN at the grassroots and join us for important discussions in advancing workers rights in our communities! We’re moving away from gathering in online spaces and won’t be having our Worker Wednesdays every month. Instead\, we want to connect in person where we will share updates about where the organization is at\, take various workshops to collectively build our knowledge and worker power and create space for our Members\, Street Teams and Committee Members to have a say about how the work of our organization moves forward! \nThis meeting we will be focusing on:\n– sharing updates on meeting our MLA strategy planning\n– sharing updates on our KYR facilitation process\n– taking a workshop facilitated by one of our Members on utilizing Health & Safety as an Organizing Tool in your workplace!! \nSnacks and beverages will be provided.
