Dr. Milberry is a social justice activist and union communicator with 25 years of grassroots media making experience. She is the founder of ROOM magazine, Windsor, Ontario’s first alternative newsweekly, and is a co-founding editor of the open access journal Stream. Dr. Milberry is also a longtime freelancer and commentator for CBC radio. She has a PhD in communication from Simon Fraser University.
